The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

Double Days - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday rotating weekly. A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Manufacturing department with the appointment of a Process Engineer. As Process Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable processes through experience, innovation & perseverance, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the area whilst maintaining a clear understanding with the adjoining processes. Development of process documentation and the skillsets of others is a key aspect of the role. Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire, the Process Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant
  • Actively present on the shop floor
  • Provide Technical lead on process related items
  • Instigate correct casting defect diagnosis and identify the KPIV and influence them accordingly
  • Daily dialogue with the Production Team to ensure the processes meet the delivery objectives (provide Tier 3 daily meeting representation)
  • Developing & maintaining process documentation
  • Controlling PFMEA documentation and actioning recommendations through score reduction projects
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies through OEE improvements
  • Cost Avoidance projects
  • Lead CI improvement activities within the Upstream processes
  • Investigate, troubleshoot & resolve root cause analysis
  • Offer guidance to others in the business unit through effective communication, leadership, coaching and mentoring
  • Playing a key role in the implementation of new product through design input, launches/burst builds/tool trials
