The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking for a highly motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a hugely successful tier one automotive supplier based in Banbury. You will be working with some of the most modern automated technology out there, within a fully established maintenance division that has the mindset and culture of continuous improvement.
Working a rotational shift of mornings and afternoons, you will be reporting into the senior maintenance engineer and engineering management team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out electrical breakdown repairs of on-site machinery which include robots, assembly cells, conveyor systems, and various automated plant.
- Upgrade, improve, modify or change components on all factory equipment.
- Working with Siemens S7 & TIA Portal for basic fault finding, interrogation, testing and analysis.
- Basic HMI/Visualization editing and programming.
- Industrial electrical and controls troubleshooting.
- Instrumentation and process control.
- Planned preventative maintenance, following the schedules but also identifying and suggesting improvements.
- Using the internal CMMS to record all maintenance activities, and to request for spares/replacement parts.
Qualifications & Experience we are looking for:
- Strong background within automated production plant, including multi-axis application robots and assembly lines.
- Electrically qualified, along with PLC fault finding skills.
- Strong awareness of health and safety, best practice and ideally a lean manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage projects including new machines/upgrades/relocation of plant.
- Flexibility to work rotational morning and afternoon shifts of 37.5 hours per week.
Package on offer includes:
- Circa £46K including shift allowance.
- Weekly paid rather than monthly.
- 32 days per annum including Christmas shutdown and bank holidays.
