What will you be doing?
Working as part of a multi-skilled maintenance team, you'll be responsible for keeping production running smoothly across a fast-paced manufacturing operation. Your responsibilities will include: Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production machinery
Maintaining injection moulding machines, robotics and automated assembly equipment
Diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults
PLC fault finding and troubleshooting
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
What are we looking for?
We're keen to speak with Maintenance Engineers who have: A recognised engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
Strong electrical fault-finding experience within manufacturing
Experience maintaining automated production equipment
Good working knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics
The ability to read electrical drawings and diagnose faults effectively
A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance and problem-solving
Experience within plastics, injection moulding or other high-volume manufacturing environments would be a distinct advantage. However, we're equally interested in hearing from electrically biased engineers from other automated manufacturing environments who have the right technical experience. Interested?
