Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with Hurco control experience to join a well-established and growing engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking to work in a modern manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate CNC machines using Hurco controls
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances
- Optimise programs for efficiency and accuracy
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator
- Strong knowledge of Hurco controls (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with a variety of materials
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis machining
- Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification
