Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with Hurco control experience to join a well-established and growing engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking to work in a modern manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC machines using Hurco controls
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances
  • Optimise programs for efficiency and accuracy
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator
  • Strong knowledge of Hurco controls (essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working with a variety of materials
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis machining
  • Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification
