A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a CNC Engineer. As CNC Engineer, you will have a proven track record and experience in machining aluminium diecast components on high speed 5 axis machines. Working from their manufacturing facility, the CNC Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Support production on a daily basis.
  • Competent in running CNCs and all aspects of the machine performance, fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Maintain hydraulic fixture operation, clamping repeatability and machining position to casting.
  • Change tools, track tool life, investigate tool breakages.
  • Monitor part quality, adjust offsets and improve process capability.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation as well as assist in the generation of SWIs.
  • Set procedures and standards.
  • Drive TPM and 5S.
  • Train, mentor and guide others on how to operate equipment safely and correctly.
  • Other related duties as determined by the Process Engineering Manager or Process Engineers.

The successful candidate should be apprentice served or have a formal college certification and proven CNC machine programming and setting in a production environment. If you believe you have the required skills and experience please apply now.
