Location: East Kilbride, Scotland (with travel to various sites across Scotland as required)

M Squared (Scotland) Ltd is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and dedicated Grounds Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our ground’s maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of landscapers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, managing resources effectively, and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Operational Leadership: Plan, schedule, and oversee all grounds maintenance activities across various sites, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compliant service delivery. This includes managing routine tasks like grass cutting, planting, and hardstanding maintenance, alongside seasonal and winter operations.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of landscaping operatives, fostering a productive and safe work environment while ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
• Safety & Compliance: Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance, conducting risk assessments and maintaining strict adherence to all relevant legislation.
• Resource & Budget Management: Effectively manage budgets, control expenditure, and optimise the use of all resources, including plant, machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records and provide regular, comprehensive reports on operational performance, budget status, and client feedback.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Full UK driving licence is essential. Showing a strong work ethic, a commitment to quality, and being proactive. Being eager to contribute to continued growth of M Squared, and able to offer or ask for support as needed. Being keen to learn and develop new skills, seizing opportunities to undertake training, work on new projects or with new technologies.

Salary - £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
