Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Landscaper to join our team. As an apprentice you’ll learn the trade through on‑the‑job training and support, assisting with a range of landscaping tasks to develop hands‑on experience and progress towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of residential and commercial landscapes
- Prepare job sites (e.g., clear debris, dig, level soil)
- Plant trees, shrubs and other greenery according to plans
- Lay turf, paving, retaining walls and irrigation systems
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery safely
- Follow instructions from senior team members and supervisors
- Clean up job sites and maintain a tidy work environment
- Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and policies
- Attend and participate in training sessions or coursework (if part of a formal apprenticeship)
Skills & Experience
- Genuine interest in landscaping and outdoor work
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and team attitudePunctual and reliable
- Driver’s licence (preferred but not always required)
