THE ROLE

As the Tyre Controller, you will be responsible for providing support to our Rally Team at each event and back at the factory, ensuring the correct tyres and wheels are delivered on time to meet the required deadlines. Reporting to our Transport Manager, you will support our busy Operations and Tyre Department.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the Tyre Manufacture at all rallies.
  • Managing and organising tyre stock held at each rally.
  • Allocating tyres to each entry car.
  • Ensuring wheels are delivered to the tyre supplier at all rallies.
  • Prepare and check tyres supplied at each event meets the requirements.
  • Provide wheels and tyres to entry cars at services.
  • Check pressures and compounds before each car exits the service park.
  • Inspecting the tyres for potential damage and cleaning wheels during the event.
  • Catalogue tyre usage after each event.
  • Delivering competition cars and equipment across the UK and Europe to meet precise arrival deadlines.
  • Assisting in set-up and supporting operations as required on events.

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment. You should have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach. You must uphold a full and clean UK driving license. You should have the ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy loads. You should possess good interpersonal and social skills and work on your own initiative to make informed decisions. Whilst also being able to collaborate and work successfully with others. You share our determination to deliver a winning performance for the very best results.
