We are looking to recruit for an EHS Advisor to support and promote a positive Environmental, Health & Safety culture across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced motorsport and engineering environment, allowing you to play a key role in ensuring compliance, continuous improvement and the wellbeing of our workforce.
The role and responsibilities include:
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures across the business.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections and investigations where required.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant UK legislation and company standards.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and provide guidance to managers and employees on EHS matters.
- Support incident reporting processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Assist with environmental management activities including waste management and sustainability initiatives.
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and EHS training where required.
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and records.
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
- Previous experience within an Environmental, Health & Safety or compliance-based role.
- Confident working within a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
- Proactive and practical approach to problem solving.
- Able to work independently whilst also supporting multiple departments across the business.
- Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
- Computer literate with strong MS Office skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is desirable.
