We are now looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Rally Technician to join our Workshop team and grow within the M-Sport environment.

As a Junior Rally Technician, you will support the preparation, build, and maintenance of our rally cars both in the workshop and at selected test or event activities. Working alongside experienced Rally Technicians, you’ll gain practical, real-world experience in a fast-paced, highly rewarding environment.

The role and responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the assembly, service, and rebuild of rally cars.
  • Supporting strip-down, inspection, and replacement of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Maintaining workshop standards, cleanliness, and stock organisation.
  • Preparing parts and equipment for tests, events, and customer deliveries.
  • Learning and applying best practices for mechanical set-up, reliability, and performance.
  • Providing hands-on assistance to Senior Technicians as required.

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Educated to a technician level, with a good understanding of mechanical or motorsport components.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads in a time sensitive environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous workshop or garage experience (including college or apprenticeship projects).
  • An understanding of motorsport environments or race car build processes.
