M-Sport UK is a world-leading motorsport team responsible for the design, build, and running of championship-winning rally cars and high-performance vehicles across the globe. We are currently seeking an HGV Driver & Event Operations Technician to play a vital role in the transportation, installation and set-up of our motorsport equipment at events and test locations worldwide. This is a hands-on, varied role combining professional HGV driving with event logistics and on-site coordination in a fast-paced motorsport environment, with extensive European and global travel.
The role and responsibilities include:
- Driving HGVs to UK and international events, tests, and logistics hubs.
- Loading and unloading vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure safely and efficiently.
- Coordinating the set-up and breakdown of service areas, garages, and event facilities.
- Ensuring all equipment is secured, organised and maintained during transport.
- Supporting event operations and working closely with engineers, technicians and logistics teams.
- Representing M-Sport professionally at events and external venues.
- Adhering to all health & safety, road transport and motorsport regulations.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- A minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.
- A proactive team player who communicates effectively and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adapt working hours to meet business operations, in accordance with applicable regulations.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in motorsport or event experience is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience driving left hand/European driving is strongly desirable.
