These hands-on roles play a vital part in the preparation, maintenance and development of our competition vehicles and specialist systems.

Opportunities may involve both workshop-based activities at our Dovenby Hall headquarters and international travel in support of test programmes and motorsport events.

The role responsibilities include

  • Vehicle Build & Preparation: Support the build, preparation and maintenance of competition vehicles and specialist assemblies to the highest standards of quality, reliability and performance.
  • Component Assembly & Servicing: Assemble, service and maintain specialist systems and components across a range of technical disciplines.
  • Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose, investigate and resolve technical issues both in the workshop and during time-critical event operations.
  • Development Support: Assist Engineers and Senior Technicians with ongoing development activities, testing programmes and performance improvements.
  • Event Support: Provide technical support at test programmes and international motorsport events where required.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to exacting standards and in accordance with technical specifications and procedures.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, build documentation and technical feedback where applicable.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Engineers, Technicians and Production teams to deliver world-class motorsport programmes.

  • Technical Understanding: Educated to technician level with a thorough understanding of motor vehicles, mechanical systems or relevant specialist disciplines.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities with a practical approach to resolving technical issues.
  • Time Management: Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Adaptability: Flexible approach to work and willingness to support a variety of projects and programmes when required.
  • Motorsport Mindset: A strong work ethic, positive attitude and determination to contribute towards championship-winning performances.
  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience within rallying, rallycross, circuit racing, rally raid or similar competitive motorsport disciplines would be advantageous.
