ABOUT THE ROLE
At M-Sport UK, we\'re at the forefront of global motorsport – from tackling gravel stages in the World Rally Championship to the sand dunes in the World Rally Raid Championship and beyond. We are looking to grow our new in-house Bodywork Department, which plays a key role in delivering the lightweight, high-performance components that helps our cars compete and win on the world stage.
As part of this role, you\'ll be a key member in producing and preparing high-quality bodywork and composite components for our motorsport programmes, working to exacting standards to ensure optimum performance and reliability.
The role and responsibilities include:

Assembling and trimming carbon fibre and composite components.

Perform strip down, inspection and repairs following each event and reporting any faults to meet tight deadlines.

Working from technical drawings and patterns to ensure accuracy.

Support the repair and maintenance of carbon fibre and GRP panels.

Prepare components for painting and final fitment.

Maintaining high standards of finish and attention to detail.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the workshop environment.

Educated to a technician level, with a thorough understanding of bodywork, composites, motorsport, or a related field.
