We are seeking an organised and proactive Reinstatement Planner to support the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of reinstatement works across the business. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent planning, communication, and operational coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule reinstatement works using operational reports, Streetworks information, permits, and client requirements.
- Produce and manage daily programmes, whereabouts, and completion records.
- Coordinate with operational teams to ensure works are completed efficiently and safely.
- Monitor progress throughout the day, resolving issues and minimising delays or aborted works.
- Liaise with Streetworks teams, local authorities, clients, and highway inspectors regarding permits and programme updates.
- Review job documentation and photographs to identify additional reinstatement requirements and quality issues.
- Support productivity, travel planning, and resource allocation to meet operational targets.
- Ensure all works comply with NRSWA, SORH, Highway Authority specifications, and client standards.
- Previous experience in reinstatement planning, streetworks, utilities, or highways.
- Good understanding of NRSWA, Streetworks permits, and highway reinstatement standards.
- Knowledge of road construction types, modular surfaces, kerbing, ironwork, and reinstatement methods.
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Ability to identify defects and challenge substandard workmanship.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident using planning systems and operational reporting tools.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, operational teams, and clients.
