We are seeking a professional HGV Driver Class 2 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating our clamshell bucket grab lorries to deliver goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal applicant will possess a valid Class 2 licence, with prior commercial driving and delivery experience preferred.
Duties
- Safely operate lorries in accordance with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing of waste during transit
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any delays
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures throughout daily operations
