Pro Recruitment is working with a growing and well-established Fire & Life Safety specialist to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to support increasing customer demand in the region.

This is a hands-on engineering role covering servicing, maintenance, commissioning, and reactive works across Fire Alarm systems. You will work autonomously, managing your own workload while supporting surveys and remedial works as the business continues to expand in the North.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend reactive callouts and fault-find Fire Alarm systems
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits
  • Commission and service Fire Alarm systems
  • Survey sites to support remedial works and quotations
  • Schedule and manage your own workload effectively
  • Liaise with engineers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Manage receipt of equipment and stock deliveries
  • Service Access Control systems and occasional CCTV systems
Systems Exposure: Fire Alarms (Advanced & Apollo essential), Access Control & CCTV (beneficial)
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience working on Fire Alarm systems
  • Strong knowledge of Advanced and Apollo panels
  • Experience working on large or complex sites
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident problem-solver in fast-paced environments
  • Experience in a similar Fire Alarm engineering role
