An established security systems provider is currently looking to recruit two Service & Commissioning Engineers to support ongoing growth across the Yorkshire and North West regions. Working closely with and reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for a mix of day-to-day reactive service calls, planned maintenance, and system commissioning when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and commissioning of security systems (training provided where needed)
- Attending reactive and scheduled service fault calls including PPMs
- Carrying out small works and installation tasks
- Supporting commissioning activities on new and existing systems
- Liaising with clients, sub-contractors and key stakeholders during project work
- Collating commissioning documentation and supporting O&M creation
- Assisting with technical site issues and supporting other engineers where required
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Participation in an on-call rota
Experience & Requirements
- Strong IP and IT proficiency essential
- Experience with IP networks, CCTV, enterprise access control, and intruder alarm systems preferred
- Public space CCTV experience desirable
- Fire systems knowledge is beneficial but not essential
- Must hold CSCS, ECS or equivalent
- IPAF licence preferred
- Willingness to undertake manufacturer and H&S training as required
Package & Benefits
- Competitive salary dependent on experience
- Standard working hours: 08:30 - 17:00 (Mon-Fri)
- Must work a minimum of 40 hours per week and be available between 06:30 - 18:30
- Overtime paid for hours worked over 40
- Company van provided (business + private use)
- Fuel card provided (private mileage recharged at 18ppm)
- Laptop, mobile phone, and specialist equipment provided
- Engineers to supply own hand tools (excluding drills)
- Home-based role with travel to sites/office as required
- Paid door-to-door
- 6-month probation with annual reviews thereafter
- Salary review after 12 months (subject to successful probation)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro rata)
- Auto-enrolment pension scheme
