M Pro Recruitment is working with an established Refrigeration & Air Conditioning contractor to recruit an experienced Refrigeration Engineer due to continued growth.
The Role: You will be predominantly involved in the installation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, with support to the service team when required. This includes installation pipework, wiring, condensate drains, and occasional cold-room panel work, as well as reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance during quieter install periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment
- Pipework, wiring, and condensate drainage
- Assist with service, breakdowns, and PPM when required
- Work on cold rooms, chillers, and commercial systems
- Travel to sites across London and the Home Counties
Systems / Equipment Exposure:
- Condensing units (Bitzer, Danfoss, Copeland, JE Hall)
- Water, blast chillers & freezers
- Split, multi and VRF air conditioning
- Walk-in cold rooms
- Commercial & industrial food environments (No CO2 or Ammonia)
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Refrigeration & AC installation
- F-Gas certification (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Own hand tools and cordless drills
- Willingness to assist with service and maintenance work
Hours & Pay:
- Contracted hours: 08:30 - 17:00 (early starts / late finishes as required)
- Door-to-door pay
- Standard rate for first 8 hours
- Overtime at 1.5x, Saturdays 1.5x, Sundays 2.0x
- Travel home time (up to 1 hour) paid at standard rate
- Weekly or monthly pay available
