We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Southampton. This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a stable role with regular overtime, manufacturer training and opportunities to develop their skills.
Hours:
- Alternating shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 and 13:00 – 21:00
- Every other Saturday: 06:00 – 14:00, paid as overtime
- Additional overtime and call-out opportunities available
The Role:
- General HGV servicing and repair work
- Vehicle inspections and MOT preparation
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Preventative maintenance
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Breakdown and roadside assistance
- Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard
Requirements:
- Qualified HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
- Previous experience working on HGVs xiskglj or commercial vehicles
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- HGV licence is desirable
