The Role: You will deliver service, maintenance, breakdown repairs, and fault-finding on heavy plant and hire equipment at customer locations. This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring a technically confident engineer who can work independently and manage their own schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair heavy plant and construction equipment on-site
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently
- Ensure equipment is hire-ready and safe to operate
- Complete accurate service and repair records
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills
- Field-based experience covering London or similar metropolitan areas
- Full UK driving licence
- Good organisational and communication skills
Package:
- Salary up to £50,000 DOE
