We are currently looking for an experienced
HGV Technician
to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Southampton. This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a stable role with regular overtime, manufacturer training and opportunities to develop their skills.
Hours: Alternating shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 and 13:00 – 21:00 Every other Saturday: 06:00 – 14:00, paid as overtime Additional overtime and call-out opportunities available
The Role: General HGV servicing and repair work Vehicle inspections and MOT preparation Diagnostics and fault finding Preventative maintenance Mechanical and electrical repairs Breakdown and roadside assistance Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard
Requirements: Qualified HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles Full UK driving licence Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work as part of a team HGV licence is desirable
