We’re working with a well-established, award-winning automotive group to recruit a fully skilled Technician for their dealership in Reading, joining an experienced and supportive workshop team.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering a right first time approach to customer work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair
- Accurate fault diagnosis using modern diagnostic equipment
- Working towards productivity and efficiency targets
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Clear communication with colleagues and management
Main dealer experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Time-served technician with proven workshop experience
- Confident using modern diagnostic tools
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
What’s On Offer
- £32,000–£40,000 basic salary, plus bonus
- 40-hour week: Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:00pm + alternate Saturdays
