Fire & Security Service Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 DOE
Employment: Full-Time
We are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Disciplined Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a growing engineering team following recent contract wins.
The role will involve a mixture of PPM servicing, remedial works and reactive fault-finding on fire and security systems, predominantly across large commercial sites.
The Role
- Carry out PPM servicing and maintenance on fire and security systems.
- Complete remedial works identified during PPM visits.
- Attend reactive callouts and diagnose system faults.
- Work confidently on large commercial sites and systems.
- Carry out electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Work on both traditional electrical systems and modern IP-based equipment.
- Use basic networking knowledge for system configuration and fault-finding.
Requirements
- Previous Fire & Security Engineering experience.
- Multi-disciplined experience across fire and security systems.
- Strong electrical fundamentals and fault-finding skills.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Comfortable working independently on commercial sites.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, hardworking and committed.
- Willing to participate in a 1 in 6 on-call rota.
Package
- £35,000-£40,000 DOE.
- Door-to-door travel paid.

- £200 on-call standby.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 28 days with service.
