We are recruiting for a Store Manager to join our team at Foleshill Service Station, 650-654 Foleshill Road, Coventry CV6 5HR. The Store Manager's main responsibility is to manage a retail convenience store and forecourt, leading the team, setting consistently high standards, and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves promoting sales and leading the financial performance of the store.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the store is open for business as per company trading hours, customers are served quickly and professionally whilst providing excellent customer service.
- Managing stock, maximising sales, ensuring product availability, merchandising and promotions within the store.
- Managing KPIs, controlling wage costs, managing waste along with stock and cash shortages.
- Responsible for overseeing the retail sale of alcohol and implementing challenge 25.
- Recruit and manage the performance of your team, ensuring they are trained to the correct level for their role.
- Completion of the daily back office paperwork and banking, ensuring it is completed accurately within the allocated timelines.
- Overseeing food preparation and ensuring food safety records are completed to company standards.
- Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is met across the store and forecourt.
- Managing fuel stocks, seeing in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business and in line with petroleum regulations.
- Implementing company policies and procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner.
Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a management or supervisory role within a retail environment. They should lead by example, have a hands-on approach, and be able to manage, coach, and motivate the team to maximise sales and profitability.
