About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and dependable HGV Class 2 (Rigid) Driver to support on-site operations in Tuddenham. This role primarily involves the safe movement of materials, plant and machinery within site rather than long-distance road haulage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for on-site transport of materials and equipment
- Move plant machinery and construction materials safely around site
- Assist with loading and unloading using appropriate equipment
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment safety checks
- Work closely with site managers and plant operators
- Ensure all movements are completed safely and efficiently in line with site procedures
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in construction, plant movement, or site-based driving preferred
- Good awareness of site safety and hazards
- CSCS card (preferred)
- Experience with plant equipment (e.g. dumpers, telehandlers) is an advantage
- Flexible, reliable and safety-focused attitude
