About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and dependable HGV Class 2 (Rigid) Driver to support on-site operations in Tuddenham. This role primarily involves the safe movement of materials, plant and machinery within site rather than long-distance road haulage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for on-site transport of materials and equipment
  • Move plant machinery and construction materials safely around site
  • Assist with loading and unloading using appropriate equipment
  • Carry out daily vehicle and equipment safety checks
  • Work closely with site managers and plant operators
  • Ensure all movements are completed safely and efficiently in line with site procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Previous experience in construction, plant movement, or site-based driving preferred
  • Good awareness of site safety and hazards
  • CSCS card (preferred)
  • Experience with plant equipment (e.g. dumpers, telehandlers) is an advantage
  • Flexible, reliable and safety-focused attitude
