Overview

We are seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to join Lowery Demolition, part of the M O’Brien Group of companies. The successful candidate will hold a valid CCDO Gold Card and be responsible for overseeing and managing demolition projects safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is key to coordinating site operations, leading teams, and ensuring all work is delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day demolition site activities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Conduct site briefings, risk assessments and toolbox talks
  • Manage operatives, subcontractors and plant on site
  • Monitor progress against project timelines and report to management
  • Ensure correct use of equipment and adherence to method statements
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation

Requirements

  • Valid CCDO Gold Card (Supervisor)
  • Proven experience supervising demolition projects
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation (e.g., RAMS, COSHH)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
  • First Aid certification (desirable)
