Ashvale Haulage are part of the M O\'Brien Group of Companies and run a large fleet of 8 wheel Tippers and Grabs. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to oversee and enhance our transport compliance. You will be responsible for managing the compliance of drivers, vehicles and ensuring all O-Licence conditions are met and up to date with regulations. Having worked in the Construction industry previously would be beneficial
Duties
- Ensure full compliance with DVSA regulations, operator licencing conditions, driver hours and tachograph rules, and all relevant transport legislation.
- Manage all aspects of fleet maintenance including inspections, servicing, MOT\'s and defect reporting
- Overseeing training, performance monitoring and Monitor fuel usage,
- Maintain accurate transport records including vehicle files, driver logs, maintenance schedules and incident reports.
