We are seeking a HGV class two tramper driver to operate our flatbed vehicle transporting various items around the country. We are looking for somebody that is happy to undertake nights out at least 3 times per week.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles such as lorries and flatbed trucks
- Safely drive to various destinations following routes and schedules
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Perform routine checks on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance - notify customers of ETAs.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid driving licence with the appropriate category for commercial driving
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Truck Driver
- Ability to drive long distances while adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
