The team has a product-driven mindset and enjoys the challenge of scaling the business. Currently at 3 million users, the user base has tripled since 2020. As they scale, they aim to continually raise the bar in their engineering teams. This role suits someone with an appetite for solving problems and defining what "good" looks like.
Vital experience includes event-driven systems design, microservices, and Azure—similar to the scale found in large consumer applications in retail or financial services. M-KOPA is leading the charge to make financing for everyday essential items accessible to everyone. Using ML/AI/IoT, complex software design, and customer empathy, we have enabled over 5 million people to live more prosperous, connected, and healthy lives. We host one of the world's most advanced and connected finance platforms, deploying $1 billion in products. Our teams work across Europe and Africa.
