We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join their team in Rochdale. This is a varied role supporting the Accounts Manager and Finance Director, with opportunities to grow and broaden your responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier records
  • Review and approve employee timesheets
  • Liaise with site teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare payroll data (hours, overtime, adjustments)
  • Support weekly/monthly payroll preparation
  • Manage the accounts inbox and supplier communications
  • Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
  • Ensure financial records are stored accurately and consistently
  • Assist with month-end processes
  • Provide general admin support to the accounts team
  • Carry out ad hoc finance tasks
  • Provide PA support to the Finance Director as required
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in an accounts or admin role (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes
  • Confident using Excel and accounting systems
  • Sage 50 experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Construction industry experience
  • Knowledge of CIS and/or timesheet payroll
