Site ManagerManchester | NHS, Education & Community Projects
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Package
Location: Manchester & Greater Manchester
Contract: Permanent
An established regional contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join its growing delivery team.
Operating across Greater Manchester, the business specialises in refurbishment and construction projects within NHS, Education, Community and Public Sector environments, delivering schemes typically valued between £250k and £2m.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager who enjoys working on varied projects in live and occupied environments while building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
The Role
- Managing projects from site set-up through to completion and handover
- Coordinating subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Managing health & safety and site documentation
- Maintaining programme and quality standards throughout delivery
- Liaising with clients, consultants and stakeholders
- Attending and leading site progress meetings
- Producing regular progress reports and updates
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager within refurbishment or construction
- Experience working on NHS, education, healthcare or occupied buildings desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and stakeholders
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
