We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially focused Contracts Manager to take ownership of the successful delivery of contracts across roofing, refurbishment and housing works.
This is a key operational position for someone who can lead teams, manage client relationships and ensure contracts are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard.
You will act as a key point of contact for clients while providing leadership and direction to Site Managers, Project Managers, TLOs, operatives and subcontractors.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will
- Take overall responsibility for the successful management and delivery of client contracts.
- Ensure KPIs, programmes, quality standards and contractual requirements are consistently achieved.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, residents, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Lead and support operational teams, effectively planning labour, resources and subcontractors.
- Monitor contract performance, costs, risks and opportunities, taking action where required.
- Work closely with the commercial team to ensure contracts are delivered profitably and contractual entitlements are protected.
- Maintain high standards across health & safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Develop programmes of work, resource plans and operational performance reports.
- Lead client and operational meetings, ensuring actions are clearly communicated and delivered.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, efficiencies and business development.
- Coach and develop team members, creating a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Maintain a strong focus on resident and customer satisfaction throughout delivery.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager or Operational Manager, ideally with a background in roofing, social housing, planned works, maintenance, refurbishment or a similar construction environment.
