Experienced Electrician – Commercial & Facilities Salary: £42,000 per annum or £19–£21 per hourCompany Van & Fuel Card ProvidedWe are currently looking for an experienced, motivated and reliable Electrician to join our established Electrical Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with strong commercial experience who enjoys working as part of a professional team while also being confident working independently.
The Role
The successful candidate will work alongside our Maintenance and Projects teams , carrying out electrical works across a wide range of commercial and public-sector properties, including: Commercial and leisure buildingsSchools and higher education facilitiesNHS and healthcare premisesOffices and commercial propertiesBlue Light propertiesMaintenance and project-based electrical worksYou will be responsible for completing work to a high standard, while maintaining excellent health & safety and quality standards.
Essential Qualifications
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)City & Guilds 2365 / 2357 Diploma in Electrical Installation18th Edition Wiring Regulations – BS 7671AM2 – Achievement Measurement 2City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & TestingECS or CSCS CardFull UK Driving LicenceDesirable: IPAF certificationPASMA certificationExperience with renewable energy systems, including Solar PV and EV chargingExperience The ideal candidate will have: At least 4 years' post-qualification electrical experienceStrong commercial electrical experienceExperience within electrical, mechanical and building servicesExperience working to QA standardsGood knowledge of Health & Safety requirementsUnderstanding and experience of risk assessmentsExperience managing or developing staff would be advantageousSkills & Attributes We are looking for someone who is: Self-motivated, ambitious and committedProfessional and customer-focusedAble to work independently and as part of a teamConfident communicating with colleagues, clients and managementAble to manage workloads and meet deadlines and targetsA strong problem solver who can use their own initiativeProficient in the use of hand and power toolsAble to read and follow technical drawings, specifications and instructionsAble to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and customersWhat We Offer £19–£21 per hour or £42,000 per annumCompany van providedFuel card providedVaried commercial projectsOpportunity to work across a range of sectorsProfessional and supportive working environmentLong-term career opportunityIf you are an experienced commercial electrician looking for your next opportunity and have the qualifications and experience required, we would love to hear from you.
