My client is a well-established regional Principal Contractor with nearly 30 years experience delivering healthcare, education, community and sport & leisure projects across the North West. They have a strong pipeline of secured work well into 2026 and beyond and continue to grow in a controlled, sustainable way. They are looking for a manager to work on NHS projects around Liverpool and the Wirral.

The Role

You’ll have full responsibility for running your own site, delivering projects from start to finish. Schemes range from £250k to £5m, offering variety without the pressure of large Tier 1 environments.

You’ll be trusted to:

  • Deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
  • Control programme, quality and site logistics
  • Liaise directly with clients and consultants
  • Maintain clear and accurate site records
  • Support and mentor junior team members

About You

  • Minimum 10 years experience as a Site Manager with a regional contractor
  • Proven delivery of projects between £250k - £5m
  • Background in healthcare, education, community, municipal or sport & leisure projects
  • SMSTS, First Aid and Asbestos Awareness
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work across the North West

This opportunity suits career regional contractors and is not aimed at Tier 1, subcontractor or consultancy backgrounds.
