The Role
Reporting to the Director of Assets, you will play a key role in the strategic and operational delivery of asset management, focusing on stock condition, compliance, and major works projects. You will be responsible for:
- Leading operational surveying activities - stock condition surveys, disrepair inspections, compliance assessments and cyclical programmes.
- Managing staff and contractors to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Driving compliance-based performance management to meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Supporting the development of investment plans, using stock data to inform decisions.
- Championing a resident-focused, value-for-money service across all asset management activities.
What We're Looking For
- Degree or equivalent in Building Surveying, Construction or a related discipline
- Strong technical knowledge of compliance standards (HHSRS, CDM, fire safety, Decent Homes)
- Proven experience managing contractors and internal teams
- Skilled in performance management with a compliance focus
