We are looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of retrofit projects across the North West, managing Contracts Managers who are delivering works on the ground. This is a senior, influential role for someone who understands retrofit and social housing and who can balance technical delivery with strong people leadership and stakeholder management.
The role
You will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple retrofit programmes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget. You will be trusted to lead your team, manage risk, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing Contracts Managers delivering retrofit projects at scale
- Leading contractor performance, compliance, cost control and programme delivery
- Providing clear leadership, coaching and support to your management team
- Managing key stakeholder relationships, including clients, funders, contractors and internal teams
- Ensuring works align with PAS 2035 / retrofit best practice and social housing standards
- Driving continuous improvement, quality and customer satisfaction
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in retrofit projects and/or social housing
- Strong background in contract and commercial management
- Experience leading managers and multi-disciplinary teams
