We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to support an established and high-performing team delivering planned works within social housing across Greater Manchester. This is a temporary opportunity running until the end of April, offering the chance to work with a well-structured, supportive operational team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing planned works programmes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction. Typical works may include:
- Kitchen & bathroom replacements
- Roofing works
- Windows & doors
- External and internal refurbishment programmes
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day site management of subcontractors and trades
- Ensuring H&S compliance and site standards are maintained
- Monitoring programme delivery and reporting progress
- Liaising with residents and client representatives
- Managing quality control and snagging
- Supporting commercial and operational teams to ensure smooth delivery
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing planned works
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation
- Excellent communication skills, particularly resident liaison
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid (essential)
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
