The Role
As Site Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of ECO4 retrofit and energy efficiency works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and fully compliant with PAS 2035 and CDM 2015 regulations. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, monitor quality standards, and ensure installations are completed right first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple retrofit projects
- Manage subcontractors, operatives, and site teams effectively
- Ensure all works comply with ECO4, PAS 2035, and relevant building regulations
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and technical records
- Conduct regular quality inspections and progress monitoring
- Enforce health & safety standards and manage site risks
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor programme delivery, budgets, and project timelines
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout project delivery
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised Site Manager with strong technical knowledge and experience delivering energy efficiency or construction projects.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience within Site Management
- Background in ECO4, retrofit, decarbonisation, or energy efficiency projects
- Strong understanding of PAS 2035 and UK Building Regulations
- SMSTS Certificate
- Valid CSCS Card
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
- Strong health & safety awareness
Desirable
- NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Management
- Experience working within social housing or occupied properties
- Knowledge of renewable technologies and insulation programmes
