We're looking for a commercially astute, solutions-driven QS who is passionate about creating safer, greener and more energy-efficient homes.
The Role
- Commercial management of Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) projects, covering fabric-first measures, heating upgrades, ventilation solutions, and whole-house energy efficiency works.
- End-to-end cost control across planned works, such as internal refurbishments, roofing, windows, external upgrades, and compliance-led projects.
- Producing cost plans, valuations, forecasts, final accounts, and procurement support.
- Ensuring compliance with PAS 2035, funding requirements, and relevant contract frameworks.
- Working closely with contractors, retrofit coordinators, asset teams, and external stakeholders.
- Providing accurate commercial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
About You
- Proven experience within social housing, planned works, or retrofit/SHDF programmes.
- Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts, procurement, and cost management.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in resolving commercial challenges.
- Passionate about sustainability, decarbonisation, and improving homes for residents.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
