We are working with a well-established and highly respected contractor delivering planned maintenance programmes across the social housing sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee kitchen replacement programmes for a housing association partner across Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused Site Manager who enjoys working closely with residents, clients, subcontractors, and operational teams to deliver high-quality planned works projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day delivery of planned kitchen replacement programmes within occupied social housing properties.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, housing association representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives.
  • Monitor programme performance, productivity, quality, and health & safety compliance.
  • Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to clients and senior management.
  • Resolve site issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels.
  • Carry out inspections, audits, and quality checks throughout the programme.
  • Ensure resident needs and expectations are managed professionally throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering planned works within the social housing sector.
  • Strong experience managing kitchen replacement programmes in occupied properties.
  • Excellent tenant liaison and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients, residents, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with strong planning and programme management capabilities.
  • Experience managing small site teams and coordinating multiple workstreams.
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS Card (Management Level)
  • First Aid at Work
  • Full UK Driving Licence
