We are currently recruiting experienced Site Managers to deliver retrofit and energy efficiency projects across Merseyside. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing programme of works focused on improving homes, reducing carbon, and delivering real value to communities.
The Role
- You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of retrofit schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest standard.
- Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you'll play a key role in driving performance and quality across live sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage retrofit and energy efficiency works on occupied and void properties.
- Ensure works comply with PAS 2030/2035, funding requirements, and quality standards.
- Proactively plan and coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Drive efficient site operations and problem-solve proactively.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and customer care.
- Monitor progress, report performance, and keep programmes on track.
- Build strong relationships with clients, residents, and stakeholders.
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on retrofit / energy efficiency projects.
- Strong working knowledge of energy efficiency measures (insulation, ventilation, heating upgrades, renewables, etc.).
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach.
- Confident managing multiple workstreams and tight programmes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Gold or Black), and First Aid (essential).
- Retrofit or PAS-related experience highly desirable.
