We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our growing business, delivering a diverse portfolio of renewable energy and social housing projects across the region. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this is a key role offering the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the continued growth and success of the company.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work across a range of renewable and social housing schemes, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining high standards of delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of multiple projects
- Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Contract administration and risk management
- Liaising with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Supporting the Commercial Director in driving business performance
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within renewables and/or social housing
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently
- A proactive thinker who can make sound decisions and take ownership
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
