We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing organisation delivering large-scale retrofit and decarbonisation projects across residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-moving sector focused on improving housing standards, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of retrofit works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing site operations on retrofit and energy efficiency schemes
- Supervising subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
- Conducting site inspections, quality checks, and snagging
- Liaising with residents, ensuring minimal disruption and excellent customer care
- Working closely with Project Managers and commercial teams
- Ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 and relevant regulations
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or housing
- Experience delivering retrofit / decarbonisation works (EWI, IWI, insulation, windows, heating upgrades etc.)
- Ideally, experience working in occupied domestic properties / social housing
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple trades and stakeholders effectively
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Essential / Desirable Qualifications:
- SMSTS
- CSCS (Black/Gold preferred)
- First Aid
- Retrofit-related knowledge or qualifications (advantageous)
