We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing organisation delivering large-scale retrofit and decarbonisation projects across residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-moving sector focused on improving housing standards, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of retrofit works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing site operations on retrofit and energy efficiency schemes
  • Supervising subcontractors and direct labour
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
  • Conducting site inspections, quality checks, and snagging
  • Liaising with residents, ensuring minimal disruption and excellent customer care
  • Working closely with Project Managers and commercial teams
  • Ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 and relevant regulations

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or housing
  • Experience delivering retrofit / decarbonisation works (EWI, IWI, insulation, windows, heating upgrades etc.)
  • Ideally, experience working in occupied domestic properties / social housing
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and stakeholders effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

Essential / Desirable Qualifications:

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS (Black/Gold preferred)
  • First Aid
  • Retrofit-related knowledge or qualifications (advantageous)
