My client is a well-established regional contractor delivering high-quality projects across the area. With a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, education, healthcare and public-sector works, they pride themselves on delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our operational team.
The Role
As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple projects from tender through to completion, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and commercial performance. You will provide strong leadership to site teams and ensure all works are delivered in line with company standards, legislative requirements, and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee several projects simultaneously across the region
- Lead site teams, supervising Site Managers and ensuring high standards of delivery
- Monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance across all sites
- Maintain excellent client relationships and act as the main point of contact
- Prepare and review programmes, progress reports, and cost forecasts
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
- Drive H&S best practice across all operations
- Work closely with commercial teams on valuations, variations, and contract management
About You
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within a contractor environment
- Strong understanding of construction processes, regulations, and contract forms
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Commercially aware with strong organisational abilities
- Full UK driving licence
