Are you an experienced fire safety professional looking to make a real impact in social housing? We are working with a forward-thinking housing organisation seeking a Compliance Fire Surveyor to lead the delivery of critical fire safety works across their housing stock. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in protecting residents and ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
As Compliance Fire Surveyor, you'll take ownership of fire safety compliance from end to end, from reviewing Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) through to delivering remedial works on site.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of fire safety improvement and remedial works
- Managing actions arising from Fire Risk Assessments
- Project managing fire safety programmes to ensure works are delivered on time and within budget
- Managing contractors and specialist consultants
- Carrying out site inspections to ensure quality and compliance
- Working closely with internal teams, residents, and external stakeholders
- Providing technical advice and guidance on fire safety matters
This is a hands-on role where you'll balance technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery.
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience in: Fire safety or compliance works within housing/property
- Managing Fire Risk Assessments and remedial programmes
- Contractor management and quality assurance
- Budget monitoring and financial control
Knowledge of:
- Fire safety legislation and regulations
- Residential construction and fire protection principles
- Risk management and compliance systems
Qualifications:
- Level 4 Fire Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Fire Safety)
- Relevant construction / surveying / fire safety qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
- Full UK Driving Licence
