JOB DESCRIPTION
CLEANER
A conscientious and hard working person is required to manage daily cleaning operations across two central Newport sites encompassing a restaurant, a retail shop and laundry facilities.
Key Job Details
- Location: Newport Town Centre
- Hours: Minimum 16 hours per week
- Schedule: 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday)
- Base Hours: Approximately 2 hours of standard cleaning per day
- Deep Cleaning: One intensive deep clean per site each week
- Compensation: National Minimum Wage during the initial probationary period
- Growth Potential: Extra hours available in retail, front of house, housekeeping, kitchen porter (KP) and laundry duties
Shift Constraints & Requirements
- Retail Shop: Cleaned daily during standard opening hours at a mutually agreed time.
- Restaurant: Cleaned daily within time windows:
- Monday to Thursday: Must be completed before 5:00 PM.
- Friday and Saturday: Must be completed before 12:00 PM (noon).
