Role Description

We’re looking for a Solar Electrician to assist with the installation of inverters and battery storage systems for solar PV projects across Taunton and the South West.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install and commission inverters and battery storage systems for solar PV setups.
2. Carry out AC electrical work, testing, and certification in line with regulations.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in solar installations.
4. Ensure compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations and industry standards.
5. Work independently or alongside teams to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Requirements

1. Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with 18th Edition certification.
2. 2391 (or equivalent) testing and inspection qualification (preferred).
3. Experience with solar PV installations, inverters, and battery storage.
4. Strong understanding of AC electrical systems and grid connections.
5. ECS/CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
