Job Description
M.J. Bale is opening its first international store on Jermyn Street, and we’re looking for an experienced Stock Controller to help bring it to life.
Founded in Australia, M.J. Bale is known for quality tailoring, natural fibres and garments built on genuine provenance. We’re a certified B Corp and Official Tailor to the Australian Test cricket team, the Wallabies and the Socceroos.
About the role
You’ll be the engine behind the store, making sure the right product is in the right place at the right time.
Your day will include:
- Receiving, checking and processing deliveries
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and records
- Managing replenishment, transfers and stock movements
- Keeping the stockroom organised, efficient and ready for trade
- Completing stock counts and investigating discrepancies
- Working closely with the management and sales teams
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the store
About you
You’ll bring:
- Stock control or inventory experience, ideally within premium fashion or luxury retail
- Strong organisation and exceptional attention to detail
- Confidence using retail and inventory systems
- A hands-on approach and the ability to work at pace
- Reliability, initiative and pride in keeping things running smoothly
- A genuine interest in quality menswear
This is a rare opportunity to help launch an established Australian tailoring house in London. You won’t simply join a store already in motion—you’ll help build it from the ground up and set the standard for what comes next.
