We're an Australian menswear brand known for quality tailoring, natural fibres and genuinely good service.

We've built a loyal following in Australia, and now we're bringing what we do to one of the best-known menswear destinations in the world.

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows premium retail, enjoys leading from the shop floor and wants to be involved in building something from the beginning.

The role

Day to day, that means

  • Leading by example on the shop floor and delivering a high standard of service.
  • Building relationships with customers and developing a loyal client base.
  • Helping the team hit sales targets and deliver strong commercial results.
  • Coaching and supporting team members as they settle into a new store.
  • Assisting with recruitment, training and onboarding.
  • Keeping the store looking its best and managing stock, presentation and day-to-day operations.
  • Stepping in to run the store when the Store Business Manager is away.
  • Bringing ideas, initiative and a hands-on approach to the launch.
  • Desired Skills and Experience

About you

You might already be an Assistant Store Manager, or perhaps you're an experienced senior sales professional ready for your first leadership role.

Either way, you'll have

  • Experience in premium menswear, fashion, tailoring or luxury retail.
  • A natural ability to connect with customers and build lasting relationships.
  • Confidence supporting, coaching and motivating a team.
  • A strong understanding of sales, service and what makes a store successful.
  • An eye for detail and pride in how you present yourself and the store.
  • The energy and flexibility to help build a new business in a new market.

You'll be part of the team launching M.

Bale in the UK, with the opportunity to help shape the store from day one.

We offer a competitive salary, incentives, clothing benefits and the chance to grow with the business as we establish ourselves in London.
