Where will you be working?

We are looking to offer a Parts Controller the opportunity to join our expanding Plant & Fleet team based in Castleford. As a Parts Controller you will be a part of our commitment to deliver what we promise for our clients, within the leading essential infrastructure services provider operating within the UK & Ireland.

With 3 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Ltd. We provide our business with more than 9,000 vehicles and over 25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets. Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sectors.

As the Store Person, you’ll get the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for the creation of purchase requisitions and recording goods inwards and outwards.
  • You’ll communicate with our Service team to ensure parts OTIF for jobs as required.
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate checks are carried out to verify stock levels for re-ordering.
  • Take delivery of goods delivered into stores, and goods receipt the deliveries.
  • Update the computer system to enable accurate stock levels.
  • Get materials out ready for collection for Operatives on a daily basis, issuing materials out using the M Group Services systems.
  • Perform stock checks 6 monthly and keep the store area clean and tidy.

  • You’ve worked in a similar role within a parts/stores environment.
  • You are happy using computers and systems.
  • You will be a key member of our team and will work closely with others in the department, and therefore you possess effective communication skills.
  • You are someone who prides themselves on having a high level of attention to detail and you are comfortable organising and prioritising your work.
  • You’re someone with a strong commitment to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • You hold a full driving licence.
